- About Us
Experience a unique and unparalleled snow adventure for 7 days on an off-piste ski adventure in the French Alps. Ski down pristine wild slopes where the only human tracks are those left by you. Feel inspired as you stand atop Europe’s highest peaks and gaze down upon the Tarentaise Valley and surrounding mountains. Arrive at the mountaintop by helicopter to ski down miles of untouched backcountry bowls nested between icefalls and sheer granite cliffs. Stay in a chalet-style hotel in the heart of Val d’Isère’s village where you can rest in peace and quiet or walk to neighboring restaurants and bars to enjoy fine French cuisine and vibrant nightlife. Safely ski uncharted runs through glaciers and canyons under the supervision of a licensed off-piste instructor.
Warning: few travelers who have gone on this trip have been able to tolerate the boredom of on-piste skiing upon returning.

FREE RIDE CORNER
Thomas grew up in the Alps and raced in his early days before falling in love with off-piste skiing. The French Alps are his playground; he spends his summers either in the sky paragliding or flying down mountains on his downhill mountain bike.
He has been working as a free-ride ski instructor for more than 15 years. He is an expert at assessing and managing the balance between finding good snow and safety.
Passionate and professional, Thomas will be happy to coach you for your responsible ‘free-ride’ experience.
Each skier is supplied with an avalanche transceiver and is trained in its use, and we insist that every skier carry a backpack with a shovel and probe. Our guide is in radio contact and has access to the local emergency services and helicopters. Don’t forget that the back of your lift ticket also has the “Sécurité des Pistes” phone number.
Enjoying off-piste skiing safely is a top priority for us. Our goal is to reduce the risk while preserving the spirit of adventure and the quality of skiing. Your participation in acquiring avalanche awareness and basic off-piste safety skills is important in helping us to achieve this risk management balance.
